The aim of this lesson is for the participants to apply Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Initial Training methods and techniques as a single rescuer in a realistic hub or blade rescue scenario, including assessment of organisational conditions, selection of rescue strategy and execution of the rescue operation.
After successfully completing this lesson, the participants can:
66) Discuss how site emergency response plans and rescue preparations (from their own organisation or a typical offshore employer) affect the feasibility and limitations of single rescuer operations in the hub, spinner and inside a blade (Knowledge, intermediate level ).Assess and determine an appropriate single rescuer rescue strategy (rescue method, technique, certified equipment, organisation of the incident scene) for a given hub or blade scenario ( Ability , intermediate level).
