10. HUB, SPINNER AND INSIDE BLADE RESCUE
- REFRESHER
TRAINING
The Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher Training is a targeted 1 -day module that revisits and reinforces the key knowledge, skills and abilities from the Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Initial Training. The focus is on scenario -based practical training, updating participants on current best practice, and verifying that they continue to meet the learning objectives, rather than repeating every element of the initial training in full. In alignment with the initial module, the Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher Training shall include a minimum of 90 minutes of practical training explicitly focused on single rescuer advanced rescue operations in the hub, spinner and inside the blade. This single rescuer refresher content shall be integrated into the practical exercises of the refresher module and shall not increase the overall module duration. This module is intended to be delivered as a stand -alone 1 -day refresher. Participants who require first -time Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue training shall attend the ART -H initial module and cannot use this refresher module as initial training.
Participants who successfully complete this module shall receive an ART
-HR record in WINDA.
10.1 Duration of the Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher Training
The total contact time for completing the Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher Training is set to be 7 hours and 30 minutes (equivalent to approximately 1 training day). This is based on the times given in the module timetable
