The aim of this lesson is to refresh the participants’ understanding of how their own organisation’s emergency response plan, rescue strategy and dropped -object controls apply to hub, spinner and inside - blade rescue scenarios.
After having successfully completed Lesson 2 of the Hub, Spinner
and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher
Module, the participants can:
12) Explain how their own organisation’s emergency response plan applies to hub, spinner and inside - blade rescue scenarios, including activation, roles and communication flows (Knowledge, intermediate level)
13) Explain how the organisational rescue strategy and available resources influence feasible rescue options and limitations in hub/spinner/blade environments (Knowledge, intermediate level)
14) Explain key dropped -object hazards in hub, spinner and blade rescues and describe the main controls (tethering, housekeeping, exclusion zones) used in their own organisation (Knowledge, intermediate level)
