For over 30 years, the Koala Tea company has been crafting certified organic herbal teas in the Byron hinterland region of the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW. The old growth rainforests, prehistoric volcanic landforms and rich soil found in this lush area are also home to koalas, for whom the company was named. A love story Back when Koala Tea was founded, Australia had no organised herb-growing industry, and no Australian-made herbal teas; the herbal teas that were available were all imported.
