Test, Inspect & Certify It is a legal requirement that lifting, safety and other work equipment be inspected on a periodic basis by a competent person. GAP has a network of Lifting depots nationwide, with our team of Mobile Engineers working across the country offering national coverage for inspecting, testing, installing, repairing, and maintaining customer- owned equipment. Our Lifting Division is fully Lifting Equipment
Engineers Association (LEEA) Accredited and each of our Mobile Engineers has the skills and experience to be deemed competent in accordance with regulation. Our repair, maintenance and testing facilities are also available at every Lifting depot nationwide.
This service allows for peace of mind that you are using equipment that is safe and fit for purpose.
Test For some equipment, a load test is required before it is legally permitted to enter service. Our dedicated team of experts can test Runway Beams, Lift Shaft Beams, Swing Jibs, Eyebolts, Davits, Sockets and more. You can rely on our skilled professionals to ensure the safety and reliability of your equipment. Inspect The TIC Team completes over 100,000 inspections per year in
accordance with LOLER/PUWER/PPE regulations. Our team will proactively contact you, providing ample notice to book an engineer, and handle all aspects associated with managing the inspection of your equipment. Certify Certification is available instantly via our ‘TIC Online’ website which includes user-friendly features including searching by item, site, and equipment type. Our team also enables failed equipment to be quoted for repair and replacement efficiently, minimising downtime. Purchased equipment is also added to the system with the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity attached, ensuring traceability from the day the item enters service.
