Family-owned and community-driven since 2018, East Rock Brewing Company is located in New Haven’s historic East Rock neighborhood, named after the iconic ridge and park. At our brewery, time-honored methods and imported ingredients are used to produce pure, crisp and authentic interpretations of German beer. Our offerings include 12 drafts , 3 specialty drafts and a variety of locally sourced cocktails , cider and wine . We are proud to carry on the rich brewing history of the area at our brewery and beer hall, bringing people together to celebrate both craft beer and community.

*You are welcome to use other caterers or bring your own food. Any caterers working during events must be authorized by our team. We are happy to help with any other catering recommendations.
Open Tab : Create one tab for all of your party to be closed at the end of the event. Ticket Tab : Each guest will be given a predetermined number of tickets which they will then exchange for a beverage of their choice. Each beverage will be added to the host’s tab and paid for at the end of the event.
1 Ticket = 1 Full priced beverage
Cash Bar : Each guest is responsible for their own tab.

For groups of 20-40 , the Semi-Private Room can be reserved. The room comfortably seats 24 people and up to 40 with use of surrounding high top tables. SEMI-PRIVATE ROOM

( 10 ) 2-4 person low-top tables ( 1 ) TV for presentations Assistance organizing and moving tables for desired seating layout Rate : Mon-Thurs: $75/hour + Bar sales, tax, and 18% gratuity added to final room rental and group drink tab (includes host’s selected drink ticket option). GAME GARDEN RENTAL SPACE For parties of 50-100 , the Game Garden can be rented for a minimum of 3 hours. Includes: Private access to Game Garden including Cornhole, Shuffleboard and Bocce courts ( 2 ) 16-foot standing tables ( 6 ) Barrel drink tables New! JBL Bluetooth sound system with wireless mic Seating for 30+ people Rate: $495+ Bar sales, tax and 18% gratuity added to final room rental and group drink tab (includes host’s selected drink ticket option).

WEDDINGS: FULL BEER HALL & BREWERY RENTAL For wedding parties of 50 people and more, the entire beer hall and brewery can be rented exclusively on Saturdays for 5+ hours. Space available for the following time slots:
12-5 PM 5-10 PM Extended operational hours available upon request.

Private access to Beer Hall, Game Garden, Brewery and Patio* Tables, benches and bar that will comfortably seat up to 100 guests. Additional seating available upon request. New! JBL Bluetooth sound system with wireless mic for speeches, music & streaming Rate : $4,500 per 5 hour time slot. Bar sales, tax, and 18% gratuity added to final site rental fee and group drink tab (includes host’s selected drink ticket option).
A 10% non-refundable deposit will go toward your booking fee.

FAQS Can I bring in decorations? Absolutely! We ask that all decorations be collected and packed up after the party. No decorations can be hung from the walls. No glitter or streamers please. Will you supply the paper goods, utensils, and napkins for my food? Please connect with your caterer to coordinate for any of your party essentials as we do not provide plates, serving platters or any utensils. Can I play my own music? We are happy to include stations/artists of your choice in our music lineup for the day. Just touch base with our bartender to get the tunes set up!
How can I tour your space before planning my party? Walk throughs are available during regular beer hall hours or by appointment.
Can I host my party outside of operating hours? We are happy to work with you on renting space outside operating hours. Please reach out to info@eastrockbeer.com to learn more. Do you supply the tickets/wristbands for ticket tab/open tab? Yes, we have wristbands and tickets already in house for your designated guest to hand out to party-goers! Can I prepay for my party's drinks/tab? All tabs must be closed at the end of your stay. Pre-purchasing alcoholic beverages is not permitted. Will someone be assisting me with party planning? While party planning is not included in reservation fees, we are happy to assist with any other catering recommendations and by answering any questions you may have about our establishment and beer!
You don't have a beverage we want. Can we bring it in ourselves? All beverages must be served by our bartenders, this includes sodas and water. Outside beverages are not permitted in our beer hall.

FAQS Are the event spaces family friendly? Guests who are under 21 are permitted if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. While families are welcome, children must be closely supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. East Rock Brewing Company is first and foremost a space for adults. To keep everyone safe, these rules will be strictly enforced by our team. Our facility contains brewing equipment, heavy objects, and a constantly moving staff. For everyone's safety, children must remain with their adult and seated at all times. Running, climbing, wandering, or rough play is not permitted anywhere on the property, including the Beer Hall, Game Garden, Factory, or Patio.
House rules:
-Children must stay within arm's reach of their parent or guardian all times.
-No running, ball throwing, or rough play.
-Tables, chairs and benches are not for climbing or jumping.
-Children can not approach the bar by themselves.
-Indoor games are for shared enjoyment and must be treated with care.
We want parents and guardians to feel welcome and able to enjoy a beer while their children are nearby. That said, we may not be the best fit for groups seeking a play-forward or playground-style space. These guidelines are in place to protect our guests, our staff, and our brewery, and will be actively enforced by our team. DIRECTIONS & PARKING We have a variety of parking to offer our visitors. Across the street from the beer hall there is a 45-car parking lot that is free and open to patrons of the brewery. There is a parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts at the intersection of Nicoll Street and Mitchell Drive, which is only a 2-minute walk to the brewery.
Along with that, there is public parking on Nicoll Street and several side streets in the area.
One block away from Yale Shuttle Orange Route.
Conveniently located off exit 6 on I-91.
