Profit comes from uniform calves and cows that stay in the herd. Tight calving windows drive consistency. Sound cows stay productive until they’re sold as broken mouths—not young culls. We selected for longevity long before it had a name. Today, Functional Longevity simply measures what we’ve always demanded. Over 250 females in our herd rank in the top 5% of the breed for Functional Longevity, including more than a third of our cows and replacements. No hype. No excuses. Just cows that pay.
