Army Expo 24 sets out future roadmap The British Army has hosted senior members of the military, decision makers and luminaries of the defence community to set out its roadmap to meet existing and future challenges. Army Expo 24 saw the parade ground at Wellington Barracks temporarily transformed with a series of displays. This year’s slogan was ‘The Army the nation needs’, reflecting the acknowledgment that the military must step up to meet future threats with confidence. It focused on improving technological solutions and emphasizing its greatest asset, its people. Brigadier Simon Carvel, director of Army Expo 24, said: “The core purpose of the Army is to fight and win wars on and from the land. We’ve seen some of the equipment and heard a bit about how we’re going to use it to provide the response the nation needs, but now I’d like you to follow us to meet some of the people who are at the heart of what we do.”
