As Diane describes, “We have a wide range of services and programs. For example, folks experiencing addiction are welcome to visit the INN and access our primary care outreach and Sublocade Program, which is also offered to clients at the Centre.” Sublocade is an injection that is given once a month as a means to help treat opioid use disorder. “We have seen great success with this program, including individuals being successfully housed and returning to work.” These services, including programming, are free and accessible to anyone. Diane enthuses, “We have a great group of staff and volunteers, and are accepting more. Our dedicated volunteers offer rides to our programs for those in need of transportation. We have programs that run on a regular basis, such as Emotional Regulation Group, Better Bones, Better Life Osteoporosis Program, Senior Social Group, Stroller Walk & Talk and much more. Our priority is to remain engaged with the community and understand how we can ensure that St. Thomas and Elgin County is a great place to live.” In October, CCHC celebrated their 15th anniversary of operation: “15 years is certainly something to be proud of. We celebrated by having an Open House with dignitaries, past and present Board members and community members joining us. We heard from Joe Preston, Grant Jones, and then CEO, Judith Wiley, spoke about CCHC’s history, sharing some of our proud moments and successes.” “In these 15 years,” Diane considerately continues, “There have been very valuable partnerships, including the INN, Southwestern Public Health, social services, the Ontario Health Team, YWCA and many more. We don’t work alone -- we work together to make a difference in the community.” Asked what excites Diane about CCHC, she thoughtfully responds, “The opportunity to continue to grow, offering
