What a wonderful start to the year we’ve had! Our Christmas and New Year lunches were truly something special, filled with festive flavours, joyful music, and plenty of laughter around the tables. We’ve also enjoyed celebrating Australia Day and Chinese New Year, with residents joining in themed activities, decorations and cultural treats.
There’s plenty more to look forward to. March brings the cheer of St Patrick’s Day, followed by the vibrant celebrations of Eid, and of course the much loved traditions of Easter. Activity schedules will be shared soon. Sports fans are also buzzing as the 2026 AFL season kicks off. Whether you barrack for the Tigers, Cats, Swans or anyone in between, it’s always lively seeing everyone come together to support their teams. And in true AFL tradition, there’s one thing most supporters can agree on: no matter who you follow, there’s always a bit of extra joy when the Pies lose a game! And as the seasons shift, here’s a gentle smile for the month ahead: the weather has been changing so often lately that even the trees seem unsure whether to hold on to their leaves or start dressing for autumn!
