Community Happenings Summer
Max the Magician We still have not quite figured out how he did it. Max the Magician had us completely baffled and thoroughly entertained, and when we pressed him for answers he simply told us he did it “very well.” Fair enough, Max. Fair enough. One of the funniest and most memorable afternoons of the whole summer.
Music All Summer Long Jack the Music Man, Steph Renouf, Laurel McKenna, Laura, Ben, Barouch our wonderful wandering minstrel, Eliza, Jose on drums, Margaret Dennis, Lorenzo, and John D have all brought something truly special to our home these past few months. Barouch has a particular gift for wandering the halls and leaving a trail of smiles wherever he goes. We are very lucky people.
A Valentine’s Day to Remember Champagne, roses, wedding memories, and Sleepless in Seattle. That pretty much sums up our Valentine’s Day and it was just gorgeous. We sat together sharing our favourite love stories over beautiful cakes from the kitchen and music from John D who handed out roses to all of us, and then settled in for the film with a glass in hand. Romantic, warm, and exactly what the day called for.
