SOFTBALL FASTPITCH BALLS
CHAMPRO ® softballs are coded on the center panel to instantly identify the construction of each ball. We manufacture a complete range of softballs to ensure that we have a ball that meets the durability and performance standards required by any league and any budget. Our high performance polyurethane cores are pressure molded to provide maximum durability and adhere to prescribed performance metrics of NFHS, ASA/USA, USSSA and Little League. Our leather and durahide covers offer the best, longest lasting grip in the field. Our fastpitch softballs feature our raised “High M” seam with the feel that players prefer. The first letter is always "T" for Tournament, "G" for Game, or "R" for Recreation. T (Tournament) - Leather cover & polyurethane core, high performance G (Game) - Durahide cover & polyurethane core, all levels of play R (Recreation) – Durahide cover & practice core; not recommended for heavy hitting The second and third letters are either "FP" to indicate fastpitch or "SP" to indicate slowpitch, which also will indentify the seam construction. The two digit number at the end of the name indicates the coefficient of restitution (COR) of the softball. Note: USSSA specifications prohibit marking the COR and compression numbers on the ball.
