Your Board of Directors and Blue Diamond Leadership Team have made the decision to switch the 2021 Annual Meeting on November 17 to an online format, similar to last year’s event. With significant current restrictions for large events, such as vaccination verification, masking, potential limitation on meals, outside security and reduced attendance, the quality of an in-person event would be substantially impacted. Additionally, most growers who responded to our poll in early September were not interested in attending an event with significant COVID-19 restrictions and requirements. As was done last year, we’ll make every effort to create a virtual Annual Meeting experience that combines the year’s highlights with the relevant business reflection you’ve come to enjoy at our annual gatherings.
