Inspection of Cattle: The cattle can be viewed anytime at the farm prior to the sale by contacting Rex (605) 208-0129 Terms and Conditions: Cash. Please settle for cattle promptly. All cattle sell according to the standard terms and conditions of the American Angus Association. Ownership: Cattle are the property of the buyer as soon as sold, with buyer taking complete risk. Pfaff Angus highly suggests insuring your purchase on sale day. Health Papers: Interstate health papers will be furnished with every animal selling. Delivery: Free Delivery of all bulls within a 300-mile radius beginning after April 1. All bulls will be kept until April 1 free of charge. Retaining Interest: Seller will retain 1/3 revenue sharing interest in every bull selling in this sale. Full possession and full salvage sells on all bulls. Announcements: From the block will take precedence over the catalog. Livestock Insurance: A representative from Martin Trudeau Insurance will be on hand sale day to insure your purchase. Pfaff Angus agrees to pay ½ of the insurance premium on each bull, however, the policy must be completed on sale day.
Guarantee: All bulls selling are guaranteed to be sound and fertile for the first breeding season. The breeding season is defined as 90 days after turnout. Bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian for injuries before an adjustment is made. All claims must be made by September 1st. This is not an insurance policy nor does it cover neglect, mismanagement or death. Please notify us before selling the bull if an issue arises. Liability: All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise for their safety or the behavior of the animals. The owners assume no liability for property loss or any accidents that may occur. Storm Date: In the event of a storm delay, please listen for announcements on radio stations KBRX 102.9 FM and KWYR Radio 93.7 FM/1260 AM, contact the sellers or sale representatives. We will make every effort not to delay the sale, but also want our customers to have every opportunity to come to the sale and travel in a safe manner. Herd Health: Bulls and heifers are on a complete herd health program. All veterinary work has been done by Dr. Covey at the Animal Clinic LTD in Winner, SD.
