Feddes Red Angus/C-T Red Angus - Annual Bull Sale [3/9/26]

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6 This first picture was taken a year ago at MD Anderson, the second picture was taken at the Red Angus Convention in September. It’s been a year of struggles, and yet God has been so faithful and good to us. God’s faithfulness endures forever. His loving kindness is without end. If there is only one thing I remember about 2025 it is that our HOPE in Christ comes not only from what He does in our lives, but from who He is. Take a moment to remember: Cancer cannot move Christ – He is closer than my breath. Cancer cannot dim His power – He is the endless light in our darkness. Cancer cannot take me from His grasp – I am the joy that was before Him on the cross. I AM HIS! On the hard days, sometimes the dark thoughts of this life can block our view of Christ. On the hard days, we must learn to see what is unseen and believe that God is the author and the finisher of our faith! THIS IS HOPE.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20

Right from the very beginning of time, God seemed to know that this world would be too wild and wooly for us to make it on our own. That’s why God blessed us with the ability to pray for each other, show compassion to each other and to walk alongside those who are hurting! To live in prayer together is to walk in love together. I still question God and maybe tell Him that He got this situation or that situation wrong and maybe He should ask my advice, but we all know that would be disastrous!! I love how we can depend on each other to help walk the different path given to each of us.

It is with very humbled hearts that we thank each of you, our friends and our Red Angus family, for the support that has been showered on us, our children, grandchildren and the Ranch during this past year. I have asked myself repeatedly, how do people get through the hard things in life without having a faith and hope that God is making all things new again. Lord, help each of us to never take for granted the love, the unconditional love, that You, our Savior has gifted to us. Health update – Carol is done with her treatments, growing her hair back, and dealing with every 3-month checkups. Chuck is doing great! He is still on an immunotherapy drug that he takes once a day for about another 6 months. This will extend his need for treatment again to 8-10 years instead of 2-3 years. He was a very sick man, sicker than we thought. God truly works in mysterious ways, and the story of our trips to MD Anderson in Houston, TX is one of those mysterious ways, one that we could never have thought up or planned. BUT GOD! God knew, God planned, God provided, and God blessed! “Trust in the LORD with all you heart, and do not learn on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make straight your paths. God’s name is trustworthy!” – Proverbs 3:5-6
