Just as with larger systems, Toshiba’s unique toner formulation and patented image technology enables these compact models to achieve a wider gamut of colors more accurately than found on competitive 4-color toner-based devices. Whether it’s a boardroom presentation or your brand identity, the e-STUDIO331AC/401AC will capture each color correctly in high-resolution up to 1,200 dpi. State-of-the-art security. These machines are equipped with a large 256GB Self- Encrypting Solid State Drive (SSD). Need more storage? You can add an additional 512GB SSD with the same encryption features built-in, giving the system an impressive 768GB total of safe and secure storage. Trusted Platform Module 2.0 adds yet another layer of encryption further safeguarding any documents or data stored or processed on these devices. Green machines. This series not only has a compact footprint, but a compact carbon footprint. They are RoHS compliant, use recycled plastics, and have a Super Sleep (1W) Mode. We know deadlines can’t wait. Your teams have contracts, presentations, and reports to produce. These machines ramp up quickly in 20 seconds (or less) and produce 35 and 42 pages-per-minute (PPM), respectively. While the 100-sheet Dual-Scan Document Feeder automatically adjusts for any skews as it scans 120 duplex impressions-per-minute (IPM). Scan Preview allows you to scan, rotate pages, or even change their order. For added efficiency, Print Around eliminates printing bottlenecks by allowing other print jobs to go around any job being held-up for a specific paper size, media type or even color toner if not available in the machine. Super easy to use. The tilting 10.1” full-color, tablet-style touch screen with embedded web browser makes it easy to navigate features and functions. You may customize the user interface to your needs and simplify the menu structure to improve workflow and productivity. Cloud accessibility is built- in, simply print documents from the cloud, or scan to a folder, email or a variety of cloud-based applications. Built-in OCR can convert your documents to searchable PDF format to aid in document retrieval or scan them to popular Microsoft® formats including Word® to enable editing or re-purposing the text. Support for iBeacon® and Mopria Beacon allows mobile devices to easily locate and connect to these MFPs, streamlining the printing process. The e-STUDIO331AC/401AC are the very first printers to feature this new technology. Paper handling that stacks up. These MFPs are team players. They can accommodate heavy paper and two-sided printing. On their own, they offer 650-sheet capacity from two paper sources. If you want even more, an optional second cassette will add another 550 sheets. Still not enough? An optional base provides one or two additional 550-sheet cassettes, or choose an optional tandem Large Capacity Feeder (LCF) that provides 2,000 sheets instead for a maximum capacity of 3,200 sheets.
Compact & Capable. Maximum productivity. As compact as Toshiba’s new e-STUDIO331AC and e-STUDIO401AC are, you may be inclined to underestimate their capabilities, but at 35 & 42 PPM respectively, with impeccable image quality they’ve got the speed – even at 1,200 DPI, to handle volume normally reserved for larger workgroup systems. The 100-sheet Dual Scan Document Feeder (DSDF) scans 120 duplex letter-size impressions per minute. And the DSDF is refillable too. With options, 3,200 sheet paper capacity is possible while still retaining that compact footprint. A yield of 17.4K for color toner and 18.4K for black and a maximum monthly duty cycle of 150,000 pages minimizes user intervention and service calls too.
