Night life Festoon lights brighten Third Street in the Railside district where you'll find The Archives cocktail lounge, Henry J's speakeasy, and J. Alfred Prufrock's martini bar. Railside's historic Grand Theatre shows weekend movies in their art deco movie house. Across town along Merchandise Mile you'll find B&B Theatres' seven-movie screens with bowling alley, arcade, and pickleball courts.
Free concerts Live music fills the evening air during the summer months. Hear Grand Island brings in bands from around the country, offering a wide variety of genres Friday evening during the summer. The parks department also puts on summer shows with local bands. The Liederkranz Live (suggested donation) series aims for two concerts every month in their historic space, year round.

More concerts, more shows, more sporting events! The events center is busier than ever bringing new — and old — entertainment to Grand Island. Indoor football returns in 2026, as well as a League One professional volleyball game. This year's concerts include Ian Munsick and ZZ Top.
