Sculpture walk A walking tour of revolving artwork is installed every spring in Railside, turning the sidewalks of this historic area into a summer gallery. Stop into the Grand Island Tourism visitor center for a self-guided map or to ask about guided tours of the works. Download the Otocast app to listen to the words of the artists as you explore the installation.
Performing arts To be or not to be putting the dates for the Grand Island Little Theatre's 2026 shows on your calendar. With full stage productions in February, April, June, October, and December we strongly recommend you be saving the dates right now. The Grand Island Concert Association (pictured) brings six annual shows to the high school auditorium.
Public art In the past decade, projects have spread new paintings and sculptures around Grand Island. Murals have brightened alleys and sidewalks in the Railside district. Large new sculptures invite visitors into the community and the library. Smaller more meditative bronzes are placed at the courthouse and inside the airport's terminal.
