New hotels and camping Grand Island offers visitors 2,200 hotel rooms, with options for budget-conscious vacations or the comforts of home for business travelers. Grand Island offers two convention hotels for family or business events. Two new hotels opened in 2025, SpringHill Suites (pictured) and the Grand Island Resort Casino. Two more hotels are under construction. Twenty-one new RV stalls opened at the Cheyenne State Recreation Area in 2025, each with 50-amp service.
