Last year, I mentioned that the cattle market was at an all time high. I did not expect it to get even better in 2025, but it did. Now is the time to push down on the throttle even more. We continue to do this in our own program to help our customers make better beef. This year the Smart Scale system was installed at our bull development facility. This system weighs the bulls each and every time they take a drink. Taking several weights per day enabled us to cut the time on the intake test almost in half, while creating more accurate data. It also allowed the bulls’ feed to be decreased further from sale time. We encourage our customers to take advantage of the Right Bull technology to let science aid in the selection process. Feel free to call with questions. The acquisition of Konkel Feedyard is going great thus far. We have several pens of customers’ calves placed. It shows we are confident in our product and are excited to work with the very people who do business with us. Finally, a big thank you goes out to our sales partners, along with the staff of Allied Genetic Resources. Without all of you, this would not be possible.
