Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2026 Informal Gathering at 6PM Service begins at 6:30PM in Fellowship Hall Maundy Thursday is the traditional "Three Days" of Holy Week, remembering how Christ gathered his disciples for a meal together shortly before his arrest and gave them a new commandment: "love one another as I have loved you," which he embodied in washing his disciples' feet as a servant. This service will likewise be centered around sharing a real meal together, interwoven with by contemplative-style worship in Scripture, music, prayer, and reflection, as well as sharing the sacrament of Communion.
Good Friday, April 3, 2026 Service at 7:30PM
The Good Friday service moves the story of the last days of Jesus' earthly life forward from the early morning hours when Jesus was condemned to be crucified to the dark early evening hours when Jesus died on the cross and was laid in a borrowed tomb. The last words Jesus spoke from the cross will be remembered.
