In July and August 2010, I was very sick again. The doctors decided to transfer my case to the Sick Kid’s Hospital in Toronto. On November 17, 2010, I returned to meet the doctors and get more tests, again and again. They told us that they had to discuss my case with colleagues at the National Institute of Health in Maryland. My mom had to phone the doctors at Sick Kid’s Hospital to inform them of my condition as I am still sick. Although there is a waiting list, the specialists in Maryland want to meet me as soon as possible. The doctors there contacted us to see us in January 2011 so that I could see other specialists in Maryland. We must fly and stay there for a week or maybe longer. Thereafter, we will go to Toronto for a week or more to meet with more doctors. They want to give me a new drug, but it is very expensive, the cost is $ 23 000 per dose. I am very sick and it’s not easy for my family and me. I am so tired and discouraged frombeing sick all the time.There are always new symptoms. I am very small and very big at the same time. I would love so much to be like all kids my age. I do not understand. Thank you for letting me shared my story with you. As the new drug is very expensive and we must travel a lot, in 2011, my parents and I would need your financial support and would greatly appreciate it. “Hello! My name is Danny Gauthier, I am 8 years old and my little sister Jenna is 6 years old. My mom’s name is Anick Gauthier Menard and my dad is Sylvain Gauthier. I do not remember, but my mom told me the stories of all my visits to the doctors and the hospitals. Now that I’m old enough to tell you, here is my story. As a baby, I was underweight and had pneumonia. I often had a fever and was sick. Later, doctors discovered that I had asthma. From the age of one, I complained of tummy aches and pains in my legs. The doctor said that my symptoms were spasms. I was vomiting frequently. Between 1

The doctors gave me lots of tests and sent them to Europe (very far from here), but I was always sick with new symptoms.
