At the event, Hutchinson was also presented with the ABC National Platinum Safe- ty Training Evaluation Pro- cess (STEP) Award which recognizes companies that are on a continual road map to world-class safety perfor- mance. ABC’s STEP serves as a safety benchmarking and improvement tool in which participants measure their safety processes and policies on 20 key components through a detailed questionnaire. As a platinum awardee, Hutchin- son is certified to be 400% safer than the construction industry average.
