Procida has worked with Coen Senior over the last de- cade and he is also an investor in the 100 Mile Fund, which Procida exclusively manages. “Funny thing about Mike is that he came in for an inter- view and started working that day, his knowledge learning servicing at the kitchen table from one of the best is invalu- able,” said Procida. Procida knows Foley’s fami- ly since the 80’s. His great un- cle was Bill Ciganik, a legend in the Title Industry. Foley, head of originations and new business, came straight out of Wharton Undergrad and went right into the fire. “As a Division One swimmer, Foley is a natural competitor. They are all members of Rockland Country Club,” said Procida. Procida’s hiring strategy continues to be old school. Many members of his team date back to grade school, high school, or the neighbor- hood in one way or another. “It’s as close to an old fash- ion firm as you can get. Some of this young team knows each other from grade school. It makes for a comradery you rarely see,” said Procida. Procida Funding provides capital for a wide range of asset classes in the eastern region of the US, with a con- centration in the New York metropolitan area. The firm uses both its own capital and that of its strategic partners, which includes private equity funds and institutional lend- ers.
