We spend time to get to know you and provide personalised support, including working with our specialist providers to ensure you get the right support for you, for free. How do we help?
Who have we helped? Over the past few years we’ve worked with a diverse range of people who needed our help on various barriers preventing them from moving to employment, such as debt, confidence, skills, housing and more. There are more stories on our Vimeo channel at vimeo.com/peoplehub
Gisele and Olie
Kyle and Olie
Rob and Olie
Gisele’s husband passed away in 2021, leaving her in debt, without an income and with an expired Brazilian passport. People Hub’s support helped reduce her debts, get a Biometric Residency Permit and secure a freelance translator role with the Home Office. https://vimeo.com/864732549
Kyle had left prison and wanted to work to support his family, but had a deserved mistrust of ‘professionals’. He felt beyond help. With kindness, persistence and regular iced vanilla lattes, People Hub built his trust and confidence, and he got a new job in a dairy. https://vimeo.com/864732490
Rob had been living in a tent under the Tamar Bridge. He had removed himself from family life and all social contact. Thanks to People Hub’s support, Rob now lives in a flat and is enjoying his employment as a support worker. https://vimeo.com/864732441
