Operational Management (10%) • To support the delivery of the operational strategy with regard to achieving the Investment Property Office’s financial objectives for the operational portfolio • Support the management of day to day and active property and estates management matters across the portfolio, delivering specialised professional property solutions individually and through the interaction of internal cross-College teams and/or the instruction and management of external property consultants where necessary. • Supporting operational performance targets against agreed service standards and implementing improvement plans when required • Identify potential efficiencies in the operation of the portfolio and where possible additional income generation opportunities • To manage and keep up to date the websites for ThinkSpace and GradPad but develop a cohesive strategy for their onward development, content and management • To manage the development of appropriate methods and events to engage with and cultivate effective relationships with representatives from external companies • Instructing and overseeing content, production and distribution of all marketing and publicity materials for the operational property portfolio • Liaise closely with Imperial’s internal Communications team to manage the release of potentially sensitive information to media outlets and the College’s diverse community of stakeholders, including keyworkers • Responsibility for the management of operational properties’ contracts with third party providers of sales, marketing management services. • Liaising with nominated property agents to effectively optimise occupancy and efficiency for all properties and hold the agents to account for their performance • Keep up to date with new and appropriate legislation • Undertake and attend all relevant internal and external seminars and attend such courses and seminars to maintain sector understanding and CPD Client Relationship Management(15%) • Acting as point of contact for any customer issues • Build long-term relationships with clients and customers • Work quickly to address and resolve customer issues • Notify associated sales teams of any new sales and cross selling opportunities
