Art in June 2024

This year we have 80 artists and makers in 20+ studios. There is so much variety; from solo studios to those exhibiting together. There is nothing more magical, I find, than being able to enter the world of a painter, ceramicist, sculptor, etcher, printer, jeweller or fabric artist.

We are here to welcome you in, to see an artist/maker demonstrate and chat. We have a cornucopia of workshops to participate in. New bike trails this year – you will find them on the website from mid-May. Art in June is all about community. An opportunity for you to dive into our world and enjoy. From A25 in Brasted turn S up Brasted Chart. After 3.2km pass Emmetts Lane on L, pass Toys Hill NT car park on right. Beechwood is 50m further on the right. Bessels Green Baptist Church - TN13 2PS From Riverhead follow the A25 into Bessels Green. At the Kings Head Pub turn right into Bessels Green Road. The church is on your right. The exhibition is in the hall behind the church. Free parking at Riverhead infant school after 4pm on Fridays and all day Saturday. Chart Farm Studios - Seal Chart, Sevenoaks TN15 OES. North off the A25 into Pillar Box Lane. Right at T junction. Chart Farm is approximately 100 yards along on the left. Dibgate Farm - Chevening Road, Sundridge, Kent TN14 6AB A25 from Riverhead towards Westerham. At Sundridge traffic lights (White Horse pub), turn right. Then 1/4 mile on left. Gravel drive. Converted barn. Jessops Farm Studios - Tonbridge Road, Bough Beech TN8 7AU. On the B2027 halfway between Bough Beech and Chiddingstone Causeway, almost opposite Hale Oak Road. Kate Tulett Art 4 All - Wickham Stores, Limpsfield, Oxted RH8 0DR. Very easy to find in Limpsfield Village High Street. Next to Kiwi coffee house.

Longmeadow Studio - Go to NT Chartwell House, Mapleton Road. With house on left continue down hill, turn left into Puddledock Lane, signposted Toys Hill. Longmeadow Studio is 50 yards on right. Ample parking in the paddock. Garden and gallery also open in aid of Hospice in the Weald. Lovebird Studios - Pigdown Plantation, Pigdown Lane, Hever. Satnav is the easiest way of finding us. Penshurst Village Hall - Penshurst Village Hall, High Street, Penshurst, Tonbridge, TN11 8BP At T-junction in centre of village. Parking: Accessible onsite spaces, High Street or Lay-by (B2176). Riverhill Himalayan Gardens - The Garden Room, Riverhill Gardens, Sevenoaks TN15 0RR Follow A225 to Sevenoaks from A21, Riverhill Gardens is on the right, halfway up the hill. Salzart Studio - 89 Wickenden Road, Sevenoaks TN13 3PN. Heading from Bat & Ball traffic lights towards Sevenoaks High Street, the second turning on the left opposite Morrisons. Salzart Studio is opposite Swaffield Road on the left. Tenchleys Cottage - Caxton Lane, Oxted RH8 0TD. Off Kent Hatch Road. Oxted side of the Chart. The Barn at Falconhurst - Cowden Pound Road, Markbeech TN8 5NR. From M25, exit 6 & follow signs to Hever Castle. Through Edenbridge, continue on B2026 until Queen’s Arms pub. Turn left for Markbeech. Falconhurst is 2nd on right. The Paint Shop - 1a Marion Cottages, Maidstone Road, Wrotham Heath TN15 7SN. A25 - 1.75 miles east from Borough Green. 0.25 miles after railway bridge. Cream end terrace on right before lights. Park in drive or opposite.
