TIDBITS OF TRIVIA FROM A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU
SAMUEL L. JACKSON’S LIGHTSABER HAS A BAD WORD In a BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show,” Samuel L. Jackson, the actor who plays Mace Windu, admitted that he still owns Mace’s purple lightsaber, but what he has engraved on it is “not suitable for young children.” NOBODY EVER SAYS ‘EWOK’ ON SCREEN We all love the furry creatures of Endor, but in all of the “Star Wars” movies, nobody ever actually says the word “Ewok” out loud! In the “Return of the Jedi,” the word is present in the final credits. The toys of the era confirmed the name later on! ‘I HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS’ IS IN EVERY FILM In each “Star Wars” movie, the line “I have a bad feeling about this” (or some variation of it) is present. Luke Skywalker first said it in “A New Hope,” and it’s now a bit of a gag line! WHILE FILMING, MARK HAMILL WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT During the making of “The Empire Strikes Back,” Mark Hamill was in a terrible car accident that led to noticeable scars on his face. To explain the scars, the scene where Luke Skywalker gets attacked by a Wampa was added after the fact!

If you’re a “Star Wars” fan, you’re already well aware that May 4 is “Star Wars” Day. May the Fourth/Force be with you! If you’ve only caught bits and pieces of a few of the original movies, only watched some of the “Star Wars” series on Disney+ like “The Mandalorian,” “The Book of Boba Fett,” and “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” or if you have only caught some of the chatter amongst die-hard “Star Wars” fans, you still definitely know who Darth Vader is and that his voice is a bit dark and creepy. Here’s the thing about “Star Wars” — it’s timeless and maintains its entertainment factor. You can be born in the 1960s, ’70s, or even 2000s and be familiar with these great movies! In honor of “Star Wars” Day, here is some trivia I found interesting.
CHEWBACCA’S VOICE IS A MIXTURE OF ANIMAL SOUNDS Chewbacca communicates via a masterful combination of growls and sounds of a lion, seal, badger, and walrus! If you weren’t already prepared, now you’re ready to take on some competition in a “Star Wars” trivia challenge, and if you’re anything like me, you may be all geared up to watch all the movies!
Disclaimer: If you’re a die-hard fan, these are likely already common knowledge!
May the Fourth Be With You!
R2-D2 SPOKE … ENGLISH? In the original “Star Wars” draft of 1974, the robot spoke in English — not only beeps! His lines made him seem like a bit of a jerk, too, as he made a few statements to bully his friend, C-3PO.

DON’T BE ‘STARRY’-EYED ABOUT YOUR STRATEGY REBRANDING THE RIGHT WAY In early 2023, Pepsi shocked the public by rebranding its lemon-lime soda Sierra Mist as Starry. Though the move raised eyebrows and spawned jokes, the success of the company’s rebranding strategy remains to be seen. Rebranding is always tricky and opens you up to the wrong kind of attention. So, if you’re considering it for your business, how do you ensure you get the right reactions? Companies rebrand for many reasons. Many do so after flagging sales to revitalize interest or reach a new market. Others rebrand to reflect a significant change in the business, like an acquisition or considerable shift in products or services. Rebranding is also a tried-and-true method for companies to move on from bad publicity. But rebranding is more than renaming your business — in fact, you don’t necessarily need to rename your business at all. Rebranding is more than a new company name, updated logo, or website. It’s about your business’s identity and overall strategy for the future.
“feeling” like it’s time for a change is not enough. Ask what you’re hoping to accomplish, then consider whether you need to rebrand to achieve it. Your brand may just need a “facelift” with a tweaked logo, new company colors, or a refreshed social media presence. If you’re committed to rebranding, do it with clear eyes and an awareness of how your efforts could go wrong. One famous example was Tropicana (also owned by PepsiCo) in 2009. The company replaced its instantly recognizable image of a straw in an orange with a generic picture of a glass of orange juice. Consumers felt it cheapened the product — and some even had trouble finding it. Tropicana quickly switched back to its old packaging, but it was a $50 million mistake. Rebranding is a balancing act between refreshing your image and retaining the elements that made your company successful in the first place. Business leaders should strongly consider hiring a rebranding expert who understands the risks before beginning an overhaul. It’s essential to understand your current customer base and target market. Otherwise, you could alienate both — and all your money, time, and effort could fall flat. AN ADMINISTRATIVE LICENSE SUSPENSION? DON’T FACE IT ALONE — WE CAN HELP! • You refused to take the state of Georgia’s chemical test. • You agreed to participate in the chemical test, but law enforcement reported that you refused. • You’re unsure of your blood alcohol level at the time of the arrest. • You’re 21 years old and you took the chemical test, which resulted in .08% or higher. • You’re under the age of 21 and participated in taking the chemical test and the result was .02% or higher. • You were behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle, took the chemical test, and the result was .04% or higher. • The police provided you with a yellow piece of paper entitled Sworn Report of the Arresting Officer. If you have any questions regarding an administrative license suspension, fear you may be facing one, or would like to seek the representation of a knowledgeable and experienced Atlanta DUI lawyer today, give us a call today!
Since rebranding is not a quick fix, every business owner should evaluate their reasons for wanting to rebrand before making the leap. Simply
When you face a DUI conviction, you likely also face a potential driver’s license suspension. However, an administrative license suspension (ALS) is much different. Here’s what you need to know. An administrative license suspension is a civil hearing conducted by the Office of State Administrative Hearings (OSHA). Unlike with DUIs, the elements that must be proven against you in those criminal cases don’t have to be proven in these trials to temporarily suspend your privilege to drive. During an encounter with police, if you refuse to take the state of Georgia’s chemical test or you end up testing .08% or more, the law enforcement officer is required to contact the Department of Drivers Services for the beginning steps to suspending your license following an arrest. This process is usually pretty quick, and in most cases, the suspension occurs before your court date. If any of the following scenarios apply to you, within 10 business days of your arrest (the 10 Day Rule), you must request an administrative hearing to avoid an ALS:

LAUGH IT OFF
Driving in Georgia, it seems like everyone is in one big rush all the time. We often see speeding, aggressive driving, road rage, reckless driving, and failure to follow the rules of the road. In an effort to keep our roads safe, the state established no- passing zones to benefit vehicles being passed and traveling in the opposite direction. No-passing zones are all distinctly marked by a shoulder barrier line on the right side of a combination strip on the center lane indicator line. In areas where a no-passing zone is marked, drivers are prohibited from driving on the left side of the road, even just for crossing. For a Georgia police officer to issue a citation for illegal passing, they must have evidence of this — the driver must have been the cause of an accident or have run another driver off the road. THE SCOOP ON ILLEGAL PASSING WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS CHARGE
GINGER PORK STIR-FRY
Looking for a healthy stir-fry that has all of the delicious flavors and none of the heavy ingredients? This one might be perfect for you!
So, where can you pass? To clarify, here are the passing rules each driver in the state of Georgia must follow:
PASSING ON THE LEFT SIDE Passing on the left side of another vehicle is prohibited unless the left side is clear of all oncoming traffic for a long enough period of time to be deemed safe enough to pass without interfering with any other vehicle on the road. PASSING ON THE RIGHT SIDE When it comes to passing a vehicle on the right-hand side, the laws are a bit more specific. A driver can only pass on the right in two different ways: 1) only when the first driver (the one being passed) is executing a left turn or 2) is positioned on a roadway with two or more lanes heading in the same direction as the passing vehicle. If you are ever charged with illegal passing, you may face many different penalties including having 3 points placed on your driver’s license. It should be noted that if you accumulate 15 or more points on your driver’s license over the course of two years, you may face license suspension and an increase in the cost of insurance. If you are charged with illegal passing, you can potentially be sued in a civil court of law if another person was injured due to illegal passing.

3 HOTELS TO VISIT FOR A GREAT NIGHT’S SLEEP
THE LATEST TREND IN TRAVEL
If you’ve ever planned a vacation, you’ve probably picked a few key places to visit, like a museum, restaurant, or historic site. However, a new vacation trend is becoming increasingly popular: sleep tourism, where a traveler plans their entire vacation to get the best quality sleep during their time away. Before, common goals for vacations were to eat delicious foods, stay up late to see the sights, and fit in as much activity as possible. However, this left travelers completely exhausted. And as our culture continues to understand how important sleep is to our health, more people are prioritizing rest even while they’re away. But being a sleep tourist is about more than going to bed early and ensuring you get your recommended eight hours of rest. It’s about building your vacation around sleep. Some hotels even offer rooms tailored to sleep tourists, with amenities so popular that their sleep options have become regular offerings.
PARK HYATT NEW YORK (NYC): This hotel features a “Sleep Suite” designed by Bryte, a company that uses AI to facilitate sleep. The room touts an intuitive “Restorative Bed,” which adjusts to relieve pressure points and controls climate temperature throughout the night, according to each person’s needs. This suite also includes an array of soothing essential oils, a diffuser, and books about sleep. THE CADOGAN, A BELMOND HOTEL (LONDON): This hotel offers a “sleep concierge,” which boasts prerecorded sleep meditations and a pillow selection menu for every type of sleeper. Sleepers can even benefit from the hotel’s weighted blankets, scented pillow mist service, and their proprietary sleep tea. ZEDWELL (LONDON): The first ever “sleep-centric” hotel, Zedwell uses recycled materials to insulate every door, wall, and floor from sound. This hotel also purifies the air within the hotel and fills every space with ambient lighting.
So, if sleep tourism sounds like something you’d be interested in, here are three hotels that help you catch those z’s.
