2024 ANNUAL REPORT
WHERE NATURE UNITES DALLAS | THE TRINITY RIVER CREW The Trinity River Crew, a flagship collaboration between Trinity Park Conservancy and Greenspace Dallas, continued to provide meaningful, paid conservation work experience and professional development opportunities for high-potential youth from historically marginalized neighborhoods along the Trinity River. Now in its fifth year, the program remains a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering the next generation of conservation leaders.
NEW FOR 2024: A 5-month re-engagement program was launched to extend the impact of the summer work program, allowing Trinity River Crew Alumni to stay involved all year long. This model will further develop the skills and knowledge gained during the summer while fostering long-term conservation stewardship. Alumni have opportunities like: National Geographic Slingshot Challenge video project, data collection, biodiversity surveys, nature trail maintenance, and other opportunities.
