Harold Simmons Park Park is committed to creating a positive impact for the communities of Dallas. We are building a park for all, but we don't want to wait until the park is built to help make a difference. Through community members info sessions, we heard the top needs were jobs and property tax assistance. HOW WE HELPED:

Over 500 job seekers attended
32 job placement vendors
90+ people hired on-site for living wage jobs
Largest job fair in West Dallas ever
PROPERTY TAX LEGAL AID EVENT Partnering with
Gave on-site legal assistance to over 180 community members.
Helped 20 that were in danger of foreclosure to remain in their homes.
Helped residents secure homestead exemptions.
Connected 80+ residents with helpful resources.
