St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort endeavors to conserve and protect its ecological surrounding by committing to operate sustainably and responsibly. Through our respect for the local environment and our ongoing process of sustainable growth, we seek out innovative solutions to reduce the amount of waste and consumption on our property and we constantly seek to improve our recycling/ reuse practices in order to minimize environmental impact.

St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort supports and works to safeguard the fundamental human rights of our hosts and guests. We condemn all forms of slavery, forced labor, human trafficking and the exploitation of children. We are committed to responsible workplace practices and compliance with the applicable laws and regulations. Hosts are encouraged to report any suspicious of human trafficking or forced labor to your manager, so that appropriate actions can be taken.

TELEPHONE CALLS

St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort plays an important role in the local community. We recognize our responsibility to create shared value and make every effort to respect and have a positive impact on the communities within, which we operate. We appreciate local communities and recognize that they are a source of our talented Hosts and esteemed guests. We encourage hosts to volunteer and participate in support of local community initiatives, including education, health and protection of wildlife and the environment.

Our telephone lines must be kept clear for customers and resort business. Except in emergencies, Hosts should not use the telephone for personal calls. Please remember, that on any Resort telephone there is no expectation of privacy and by using it, all Hosts consent to our right to monitor calls. Likewise, personal mail shouldn’t be sent or received through Resort paid postage. Unless you have received direct approval from your supervisor, personal cellular telephones, pagers, and other similar devices should be turned off or kept on silent mode while on duty. These can be disruptive and disturbing to others working and our guests. Those who are using Radio handle set should be connected to the earpiece. The communication via the dedicated channels should be seamless to the guests.
