YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
RESORT & GUEST SECURITY
• Taking care of your health and safety at work. • Taking reasonable care of everyone else using the Resort’s premises, and that includes Hosts, guests, visitors and even those delivering goods and supplying hospitality. • Fully cooperating with and adhering to any rules or systems that the Resort operates in order to meet its legal obligations. • Reporting to your immediate superior any conditions or systems that you consider are unsafe or potentially unsafe.
I understand that I am responsible for exercising reasonable care in the protection and security of our guests, fellow Hosts, buildings, equipment and supplies. My awareness and assistance will be a tremendous asset in this effort.
Things I should remember:
• Do not discuss who is staying in the resort at any time or give out a guest’s name, room number or any other information about their stay. • Do not leave cash banks unattended. • Never give out any information about fellow Hosts, including names, addresses, phone numbers etc.
In order to create and maintain a safe working environment, you shall follow these policies:
• Read, be familiar with and follow all safety measures presented to me in training and orientation. • Report any unsafe conditions or potential hazards to my immediate superior or other management representative immediately. • Report any accident or injury which occurs to me, a fellow Hosts, or a guest of the resort to my immediate superior or other management representative immediately; and • Read and follow operating instructions on any equipment or machinery you may use.
REPORTING INJURIES & ACCIDENTS
You will report all on the job injuries or accident that happens in the Resort, no matter how slight, to the immediate superior immediately. You will then complete an Accident Report with the immediate superior. You shall understand that failure to follow these simple steps could result in disciplinary action. If you injure yourself at work and do not report it, the Resort will not be liable for giving you any assistance should the problem become worse.
