The designated Hosts will record and make an effort to find and return the item to the rightful owner. If the designated Host is unable to find and return the item to the owner within the hour of the find, the item must be reported and handed over to the Loss Prevention Manager who will prepare the necessary documentation and reporting. Other than property of a perishable nature, lost and found property unclaimed or whose rightful owner cannot be traced after a period of time decided by management may be disposed of or given to the finder. Medicines (tablets, liquid and any other forms of medications) and partially used bottles of beverages (spirits, liquor and cordials) will be disposed of after a period of three months. Management’s decision is discretionary for property likely of high value and may not be given to the finder. Items found in the hotel should be cross referenced with all reported lost items on the hotel's Lost Found log for possible matches.
