6 Marriott BonVoy Program Marriott Bonvoy is the hotel loyalty program for Marriott International Marriott. Bonvoy is an unrivaled travel program that goes beyond rewards to connect our members to more of what they love. With endless experiences across extraordinary brands worldwide, Marriott Bonvoy helps millions of members find personal fulfillment through good travel. Bonvoy was first introduced in 1983. In 2019, Marriott consolidated three of its loyalty programs—Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest—into one new program: Marriott Bonvoy. Bonvoy members can earn points in a variety of ways and use them to score hotel stays, book other forms of travel, and more.
6.1 The Cobalt Program The Cobalt Program, historically The Ritz-Carlton Cobalt Card, provides recognition across participating Marriott brands with elevated benefits at luxury brands. The program goal is to recognize Marriott’s current and potential, most valuable guests and business relationships to drive portfolio awareness and share-shift. The program is invitation-only and unpublished. It may only be discussed with current members. There are no external Public Relations or communications about this program, and hosts should not discuss it outside of work. Marriott International’s CEO will welcome members as the program sponsor. Cobalt members can be identified via Special Request Code R5 on the reservation. The Ambassador Service team will support your preparation and delivery of elevated service by leveraging existing processes, including sending additional information via GXP cases and emails.
