CONTRACT & CONFIRMATION
As a new Host you should have your contract agreement signed on or before your first day of employment with the property.
only when you are confirmed in employment through a written Confirmation of Employment. Your confirmation of employment is subject to: (a) A medical examination conducted by a medical practitioner agreed by the Resort or its designated insurance agent. (b) The approval and issuance of a Work Permit by the government of Maldives in case of expatriate host. (c) The successful completion of a probationary period.
St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort contains 3 categories of employment.
a) Employment for a Definite Period or for a Definite Work b) Employment for an Indefinite Period c) Employment for Daily or Casual Work St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort offers employment only in writing through a Contract of Employment. Individuals below the age of 18 years shall not be competent to enter an Employment Contract with St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, unless with a written consent from parents or legal guardian. The Contract of Employment signed by the appointing authority in St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, signifies the Resort has offered you employment at the Resort. The signed and returned copy of the Contract of Employment by you, indicates your acceptance of the offer of employment with its terms and conditions. This Contract of Employment is binding
If for any reason, the result of one or more of the above is unsatisfactory, your Contract of Employment is voided.
Your copy of Contract of Employment is for your own records and should be stored in a safe place.
In all three categories of employment, St. RegisMaldives Vommuli Resort does not offer tenured or guaranteed employment. Your employment is at will and may be terminated by yourself or by St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort at any time, including post evaluation period.
