PROBATION PERIOD
Once the resignation is accepted the Resort will issue a letter of acceptance confirming your resignation and final day of employment.
Your first (90) calendar days of your employment are referred to as Probation Period. Probation gives the Resort and you a chance to determine whether it meets each other’s initial expectations. During this time, you are orientated to the Resort property and your job specifications and responsibilities. Towards the end of this three months’ probation period your immediate superior will conduct a performance discussion with hosts covering areas such as work performance, job skills, safety record, disciplinary record, attendance, cooperation with fellow Host and responsiveness to guests. Should your performance in these areas be unsatisfactory, then your employment will be terminated.
TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT
We wish you will enjoy a long and fruitful career within our Resort and team. However, the Resort shall be entitled to terminate your employment in accordance with procedures set out in General Terms of Contract or Employment Act after giving the minimum notice below: • Two weeks’ notice for any Host in employment for more than three months but less than one year • One month’s notice for any Host in employment for more than one year but less than five years • Two months’ notice for any Host in employment for more than five year • Two months’ notice for any Host in management level In the event that you shall fail or be unable, by reason of illness or other incapacity, to perform your duties for a cumulative period of ninety (90) days, in any consecutive twelve 12 months period, the Resort may elect to terminate your employment by giving notice as specified above.
Either you or the Resort may terminate the employment contract without any notice during the probationary period.

If you wish to resign from your employment, you are required to write a letter to the Human Resources Department through your respective Head of Department (HOD) as described in the employment contract. If you refuse to work during the notification period the Resort may deduct the equivalent remuneration from your final salary.
