Return to work without a medical certificate after a period of 3 days absence due to sick leave may result in possible disciplinary action being taken and possible deduction of annual leave accrual / days off being treated as unpaid.

R&R is applicable to Hosts in Red Band and as per their benefit grid provided in the contract of employment. Entitlements are specified in the letter of appointment. The Hosts are entitled to only Economy class tickets up to the max of the entitled amount. Each R&R ticket cannot be split into multiple tickets and has to be used one time. Reimbursements for R&R tickets must be submitted to Human Resources Department within 4 months of returning from the R&R trip. The R&R ticket can be purchased by Host. The allowance for the R&R will be paid with the salary preceding the R&R subject to the form having been submitted on time. A fixed allowance for the ticket and the maintenance allowance will be paid to the Host salary. R&R will not be allowed to enchase. For more information on the R&R policy and procedure, please seek guidance from HR office.

Any Host who is absent without notice or certification, shall forfeit pay for those day/s and disciplinary action may be taken.

CIRCUMCISION LEAVE

Hosts shall be granted 5 days’ paid circumcision leave on the occasion of the circumcision of his/her child. Such leave shall commence from the date of circumcision of his/her child. Supporting documents must be submitted for this leave.

NO-PAY LEAVE

Host must receive approval from the Supervisor first by notifying reasons of leave. In case of less than 7 days leave, permission from Department Head shall be granted. In case of more than 7 days leave, permission from Department Head and General Manager shall be granted. For permanent Host, the leave is counted including days-off.

PROCEDURE FOR LEAVE APPLICATION

Hosts are to request leave days through immediate manager via HR SYSTEM, detailing the types and period of leave applied and have it approved in advance of actual leave date. No Host should arrange their vacation/holidays in advance without final approval. Annual Leave must be applied 30 days in advance. The travel air ticket should be applied for via HR system after the final approval of Leave Application.
