TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

To maintain the high standards of the resort it is necessary to ensure that the Host is highly skilled in every aspect of the present and future job. Training both on and off the job, is important in achieving the Resort’s goals and you will be expected to participate in Resort based and external training courses, as directed by the immediate superior. While the resort will provide opportunities for training, you must understand that your development is your responsibility. If you have any questions or would like to find out more, you will contact the Learning Development Manager/Director, who will be able to supply you with all the relevant details. Marriott International being the one of the largest hospitality employer, the company has invested heavily on Human Capital development. In light of this online university named Digital Learning Zone (DLZ) is being available to every permanent member of Marriott International. DLZ, Marriott's Learning Management System, is designed to accelerate Host and business performance while driving personal and professional growth. DLZ enables you to browse course catalogs, self-assign online training, register for instructor led courses, create learning plans, and view learning history records.
