PERFUMES & DEODORANT
• Make up should be conservative, tastefully applied and non-excessive. • Host using contact lenses to ensure that it is not flashy or bright colors. Strictly no ‘Big Eyes’ • The spectacle frame used should not be very flashy, subtle color frames to be used.
• Invest in a good deodorant or perfume always and it is vital to smell pleasant whilst dealing with guests. • Bad body odor is an indication of poor hygiene and interferes with another person’s comfort. • Take good dental care to avoid bad breath and use breath fresheners. • Try to avoid smoking in uniform, ensure it is done in designated areas and use deodorant and mouthwash fresheners after smoking. • Chewing gums, supari or arecanuts whilst on duty is not permitted in guest areas.
JEWELRY
• Maximum of one ring on each hand (not on thumb). • Rings that are ornate, large or high are not permitted. • Only one pair of earrings / small studs is allowed for female host whilst at work. • No male host are allowed to wear earrings. • One conservative wrist bracelet for females and one watch are acceptable. Watch must not be fancy, big or bulky with loud colors. • Nose rings, anklets, bangles, wristbands of any kind, threaded beads, colored strings or any other ornamental jewelry will not be permitted unless it’s related to religious or cultural practices. • All religious threads on the body must be well concealed.
OFF DUTY ATTIRE
• Female hosts must be appropriately attired at all times. No plunging necklines, strapless tops that may reveal cleavage or backless/see-through attire is to be worn whilst frequenting the public areas (Guest areas, Host Village). • Male hosts are not allowed to be present without t-shirts.
