Our appraisers provide a valued opinion for Auctions, insurance, succession, or the division of inheritance etc. - all these varied subjects are handled by the appraisers of the Venduehuis. If you would like to have a free of charge price indication of an object you wish to auction, this can be done at our information desk at the Venduehuis on any working day between 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM, preferably by prior appointment. It is also possible to send us some photographs via email. We are only able to assess items based on clear, high- quality pictures without notable reflections. We will inform you in advance of any fees that may apply.

Additional buyer’s premium for Invaluable is 5% on top of our regular charges. Transportation fees are additional and you can ask for a quote via www.venduehuis.com/ shipping.

Verbal

The photo- and administration costs for the theme auctions are €35,00 per lot (excluding VAT).

Valuations for auctions are free of charge. For other verbal valuations the following rates apply: • Small number of items at the information desk: free of charge. • Home visit: €75 for the first hour or part thereof, €50 for each additional hour, travel allowance cost of €0.50 per kilometer with a minimum charge of €12. • All above-mentioned amounts are excluding VAT.

The photo- and administration costs for the general art and antiques auctions and the online auctions are €10,00 per lot (excluding VAT)

Droit de suite

Droit de suite applies to: Original pieces made by artists up to 70 years after passing who are nationals or residents of any country part of the EU or EER or from any country with equal legislation concerning droite de suite. B.V. Venduehuis der Notarissen in The Hague will, in accordance with the Dutch auction houses, recover the statutory droit de suite fee from the buyer. The Venduehuis will also see to the financial processing. The droit de suite fee will be calculated starting at €3,000 on the sales price including premiums (excluding VAT) as composed of the following percentages:

For the preparation of an official valuation report the following rate will apply: • A written valuation report made at the information desk: €60 per half hour. • For other written valuations the rate is €150 for the first hour or part there of, €75 for each following half hour with travel allowance costs of €0.50 per kilometer with a minimum charge of €12. • All above-mentioned prices are excluding VAT.

For Vendue Next Door auctions 5 weeks prior to the first viewing day.

It is not possible to consign in those weeks in which an auction is scheduled.
