Published in response to a Rembrandt-exposition by Scheltema & Holkema, Amsterdam, with an accompanying text by C. Hofstede de Groot. Subscribers could choose and order a binder in different designs by Lion Cachet. His colleague T. A large mantelpiece. A wooden construction with a framed decorative batik on parchment panel depicting two birds surrounded by foliage. The panel flanked by a frame embellished with three coromandel panel bands of carved foliage motifs in relief and padouk profiles. The interior of the fireplace made of partially pierced copper.
