Biola Broadcaster - 1961-07

before His crucifixion. This was the Olivet Discourse given by Christ as He sat on the Mount of Olives. When He returns in glory His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives. It was on this Mount that Christ answered the questions of His disciples as to His death, burial and resurrec tion. Also their query as to the sign of His coming and the end of the age. What He talked about to His disciples at that time, as to how we are to know when this age is about to come to an end, are the very things you are read ing in the headlines of your news papers today. He spoke of a time of trouble ahead when, if He did not in terfere in world conditions, the human race would be wiped out. In reading the two chapters referred to in Matthew we must come to the understanding that if we have any thing that we can do for the Lord we had better hurry up and do it for the night cometh when no man can work. I believe that the very best invest ment that you can make of your time, your strength, and whatever may be your holdings, is to see to it that these are expended in getting out the Gospel through all available avenues. Espe cially do we want you to consider the endless value as you back the training of these many young Jfolk here at The Bible Institute that they may be equip ped to teach the Word of God in its purity which others would destroy. As I have journeyed over the world, it has stirred my heart to meet Biola’s graduates out in the darkness of the world which few know, and to meet those who have come into the light of His salvation through these young folk as His instruments. It is with every sense of joy and gratitude that I have had a part in this great Institute, the Bible Institute of Los Angeles.
