Allen’s work is shaped by his architectural background. Using perspective, shades, shadows and the chaos of nature, he quickly captures scenes as sketches rather than detailed renderings. Each watercolor typically takes around two hours to complete –with few small details, no mixed medias, all transparent and loose!
