Greetings!

Dear New or Returning Students,

On behalf of our faculty and staff, I want you to know that we are excited to have you as a student at Word of Life Bible Institute! We have been praying and planning for your arrival and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store this year. The Word of Life Bible Institute experience has commonly been called “the best year(s) of your life.”

As we anticipate an amazing year of learning and growing, I want to challenge you with the following verse:

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:20).

No matter where the Lord leads you after Word of Life, He calls all of us to be His ambassadors. It is our privilege to represent Jesus Christ to those around us. Do you want to represent Him well? Would you like to share His message effectively? If the answer is “yes,” you are in the right place! I encourage you to enter this year with your heart and mind open to what the Lord wants to teach you. If you come with this attitude, I believe the Spirit of God will take the Word of God and begin to transform you from the inside out. Our staff and faculty are ready to serve you. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything.

Because of Grace,

Brian Baker Vice President of Bible Institutes

Keeping You Safe, Always

Below are some departments you should know about that will be very useful to you as a student!

Health We have partnered with United Concierge Medicine (Telemedicine) to provide healthcare via telephone for our students. There are also walk-in clinics located within 10 miles of the Bible Institute in Hudson, Spring Hill and New Port Richey. In addition, there are several hospitals in the area. When the need arises for students to visit the doctor or hospital, they are encouraged to contact their parents / guardians to inform them of their condition and treatment. Due to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Word of Life cannot make that contact nor force the student to do so.

Security Security Cameras which record, and front entrance gate with different student codes.

Opportunities to Grow Together

Missions Conference

In October, we'll be flying up to the New York campus for a week of classes, followed by an exciting Missions Conference with the students from New York and the two Canadian campuses. It's going to be an awesome time. The cost of this trip is included in your tuition.

Discipleship

Our desire is to help students move from a mere knowledge of the Bible, which can foster pride, to a deepening relationship with Christ (John 17:3) which leads to wise living and the building up of others in love (Romans 14:19) and build others up (Romans 14:19). To that end, our discipleship program provides all enrolled students an opportunity to meet regularly with someone for Bible study, prayer, encouragement, and accountability. 1 on 1 Discipleship: The Student Life Department will pair students with a staff member to meet with throughout the year, using the discipleship application to facilitate the best possible match. Additionally, you can reach out to any staff member and ask them to meet with you throughout the year. Small Groups: There are segments each semester where Student Life chapels take the format of small groups. These groups are facilitated by staff members.
