Sea turtles hold a special place in Eau Palm Beach’s hearts. From March to October, the beach becomes a haven for many sea turtle nests, offering a chance for guests or staff to witness the amazing sight of hatchlings making their way to the sea! During this important turtle season, the protection of these incredible creatures is taken seriously.
The security team ensures that all indoor and outdoor lights visible from the beach comply with the Manalapan town ordinance, shielding, repositioning, or turning them off after dark to ensure the nesting sea turtles are undisturbed.
Annually, Eau Palm Beach proudly contributes donations to the sea turtle hospital at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, recognizing its vital role in ocean conservation and sea turtle protection. Alongside vigilantly monitoring the beach for sea turtle nests, the resort actively engages guests by hosting informative discussions and sessions focused on educating visitors about the essential role of turtles in preserving the ecosystem.
