WELCOME TO THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
As the fall season comes to a close, it is a wonderful time to thank everyone who joined us for the many activities and events hosted this year by the Parks and Recreation Department. It has been a busy and rewarding season, with strong community participation and enthusiasm across all programs. Monthly Bingo sessions remained a favorite among active adults, offering a lively and social atmosphere. The Historical Portrayals series and Snacks and Smarts programs also continued to engage residents by providing meaningful learning opportunities and practical information on a variety of topics. We are thrilled to welcome Nicole Collier as the newest member of our Parks and Recreation team. Nicole joins us as the Assistant Superintendent of Senior Services, bringing with her a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for community recreation. Prior to joining Willowbrook, she served as the Superintendent of Recreation for the Berwyn Park District, where she developed and led numerous successful programs and initiatives that strengthened community engagement. Nicole’s creativity, leadership, and passion for serving others make her a wonderful addition to the team. Her warm personality and innovative approach will undoubtedly enhance the programs and experiences offered to our senior community. We are excited for residents to meet Nicole and see the positive impact she will bring to the department.
