Niall Gaffney says, “When we outlined our brief to the designer the rationale that was presented to us was to use an amended version of a typeface that is inspired by first century Roman inscriptions and based on classical proportions. “We felt that this was appropriate as we are in the construction industry and it conveys all the history and strength associated with the Roman Empire – but it also merges with a contemporary feel. “We loved the simplicity and lightness in the colour used and contrast of the dots against the strong typeface. The dots represent energy and movement, which fits our business model well. We are happy with the new design and think it represents us well.”
