Congratulations to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at Opelousas General and our HIM team for obtaining their Commission on Cancer (CoC) Accreditation for another 3 years, as well as being recognized as an American College of Surgeons (ACS) Surgical Quality Partner. A HEALTHY DOSE
Marketing & PR, along with the Medical Staff Services Department, launched a new video series last month called “A Healthy Dose”. This series is interview-style, and the purpose is to help our community and patients learn more about our physicians and their ideas on good health. Dr. Kim Dakin, Chief of Staff and Otolaryngologist, was the first participant, and you can watch her video here or by scanning the barcode at right. If you would like to be featured in an upcoming episode of a “A Healthy Dose” or “Medical Moments” video, or perhaps the “Generally Speaking” podcast, please reach out to Holly Cope-Lynn, Physician Engagement Coordinator, at hollycopelynn@opelousasgeneral.com or 337-678-4265. She would be happy to get you scheduled!
