Support Every Reader with Jan Richardson’s Next Step Guided Reading Assessment
Educators need assessment tools, data, and strategies to differentiate instruction that’s tailored to their students’ literacy levels and backgrounds. We’re proud to partner with author, reading specialist, and former K–12 teacher Jan Richardson, whose Next Step Guided Reading Assessment has been giving teachers across the country the keys to unlock their students’ potential.
Getting Started with the Next Step Guided Reading Assessment
Designed by Dr. Jan Richardson and Dr. Maria Walther, the Next Step Guided Reading Assessment is a streamlined four-step assessment process for teachers to gauge their students’ reading interests and their word knowledge, spelling, fluency, and comprehension levels.
