Whole School Atheltics Carnival

PRIMARY & SECONDARY HOUSE CAPTAINS

After an incredible year of teamwork, competition, and house pride, we are proud to celebrate our 2025 House Captains — the student leaders who bring energy, encouragement, and enthusiasm to every event.

The highlight of Term 1 was undoubtedly our House Athletics Carnival at Meadow Glen Athletics Track in South Morang. The atmosphere was electric as students from Prep to Year 12 came together for a full day of fun, competition, and encouragement. Our younger students enjoyed participating in novelty events and relays, while the senior students took to the track and field, showcasing their athletic ability in sprints, jumps, and throws. The vibrant sea of house colours, cheering, and friendly rivalry made the day a true celebration of teamwork and sportsmanship. Our House Captains played a vital role throughout the day — cheering on participants, helping with events, and motivating everyone to get involved. Their enthusiasm and leadership embodied the spirit of The Lakes, reminding us that success is about effort, encouragement, and working together. A big thank you to all staff, students, and families who supported the event — it was a fantastic celebration of our school community. We can’t wait to see what our 2025 House Captains achieve in the year ahead!
